Love, Hate and Geopolitics
Written by Marcus Tremble

As citizen, I have a lot of love for this country (America) the land of many opportunities. I would never do a thing to harm it and would defend its soil as I have pledged to do in the past during my time in the military...  Yet I often feel a deep disgust for the hypocrisy that often manifests itself from under the banner of our flag...

Quote from our Director
Written by Marcus Tremble

"All things enduring move through different progressive stages in a process. This process has four (4) phases: Development, Establishment, Maintenance and Refinement.

Maximum Cultural Development warrants that: We must be producers of culture, not passive consumers of it. Cultural development must be intentional and proactive, focused on clear and valid goals with a concrete vision of how to attain them. We are inundated by language, symbols, ideas, and technology, none of which is neutral. We must therefore as a people define where we stand with regard to them and adopt appropriate intellectual and behavioral responses, if we are to be champions and not victims." Marcus W. Tremble

Indictment Launched Against Bush Administration In The Court of Public Opinion

It began formally on June 9, 2008 when Dennis Kucinich gave official notice of his intention to introduce 35 articles of impeachment against George W. Bush to the U.S. House of Representatives. On June 10, 2008, as Congressman Robert Wexler joined Kucinich as co-sponsor of the resolution, Kucinich officially introduced his resolution to a near-empty House chamber. The Clerk took just under four hours to read the resolution into the record - Printed in Congressional Record, Volume 154, pp. H5088–H5107

Takeover: The Return of the Imperial Presidency and the Subversion of American Democracy

Charlie Savage is a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter from the Boston Globe. He has written extensively about President Bush's signing statements and other White House efforts to expand executive branch secrecy and unchecked power. Warrantless wiretapping is one part of this story. Savage has just published a book charting the means the Bush administration devised to circumvent laws and expand Presidential authority. It's called "Takeover: The Return of the Imperial Presidency and the Subversion of American Democracy." Charlie Savage now joins us in the firehouse studio here in New York. You can also discuss these videos in the forum area.
