We are inundated by language, symbols, ideas, and technology, none of which is neutral. I didn't plan on responding to what I heard from the republican convention last night (September 3, 2008) until it was all over. But if you saw what I saw you know that it demands a multilateral response.
We witnessed McCain's attack squad of negative, cynical politicians insult the very core of American democracy. They lied about Obama and Biden, and they attacked every day, average Americans for wanting something better for themselves and being a part of the democratic campaign. |
